Xenadrine 40 Plus contains an essential combination of active ingredients including UT 100 (Uncaria tomentosa), a mushroom complex, niacinamide, zinc and Norambrolide. The Uncaria tomentosa is particularly a significant ingredient since it has been shown to help support DNA repair in a human volunteer trial. With the exception of Norambrolide, all of these ingredients in the potencies found in Cytodyne Xenadrine 40 were tested in a clinical study with 14 adults over the age of 40.
The results of the study were:
78.6% of the subjects lost weight without any change to their diet or exercise patterns
35.7% of the subjects experienced less bodily aches and pains
21.4% of the subjects were less fatigued
85.7% of the subjects had improvements in DNA repair
Although Cytodyne could have stopped here, they decided to improve this already great formula with the addition of Norambrolide. This fermented sage compound has been shown in unpublished in-vitro research to increase levels of a specific cellular messenger that is called cAMP (cyclic adenosine monophosphate). The significance of this increase is that some metabolic processes, cAMP is involved in activating cellular enzymes and other substances that help move fat out of the fat cells and stimulate the process of weight loss; although there isnt any research to demonstrate that Norambrolide will have this effect in humans. Containing natural supplements and ingredients, Xenadrine 40 is naturally safe and is totally stimulant free. It contains no caffeine, ephedra, etc.

Recommended Use:
As a dietary supplement, take 2 capsules before breakfast or morning exercise session, and 2 capsules at mid-afternoon with 8 ounces of water. Do not take Xenadrine 40 in the evening. Do not exceed 4 capsules per day. Persons under 150 lbs. may wish to begin use with one-half the recommended dose for the first week (one capsule twice per day).
